Short update. Brian Mooney, a good friend of mine and my family has passed away far too young while doing charitable work in Nepal.

So after around two years of inactivity I've completely rebuilt my website. I had lost the ability to log into my content management system to update the site a while back and, due to my AMAZING level of laziness, had never bothered to call my web host to try and fix the problem. And in an even GREATER display of laziness, I decided I'd rather just rebuild the entire site using a new content management system. This new site was done using Joomla, which is pretty straightforward and easy to use. I used the "rhuk_solarflare_ii" template and just modified a few things to get it set up the way I wanted. Hopefully the ease of use will prompt me to get moving and update more often.
As a side note, I'm REALLY glad the redesign didn't involve uploading the entire site again, MP3s and all. Since everything was still on the server, I just had to do some tedious copy/pasting of links and even more tedious database editing (to get the hit counters to not all be reset).
Also, you may notice there is now a category for "other stuff." I have quite a few files I'll be putting in there soon, like TABs, tutorials, etc. So keep an eye out for that. The "covers" section with all my non-game remixes will be back soon as well. The files are still there, I just have to add them as items in joomla.
Oh, yeah. Scroll down for much bigger news. Also, there are two more songs in the "Game Arrangements" section.

I'm gonna be a DADDY! Not much else to say :) My wife and I are expecting a baby boy. He should be making his entrance the first week of May. |
